Losing Weight After Baby

As being a mum is incredibly rewarding, but additionally uses a large energy investment. The necessity for energy needed never really goes away completely, even while the children age.

Many mums have additional demands on their own energy, like jobs, hobbies, and volunteer work. They provide a lot time to others they infrequently are able to adopt time for themselves.

The non-stop pace of life and family duties leaves some moms feeling drained. Stress, insomnia, and poor nutrition can exacerbate this challenge. First, Manage You

Being a mother, there is a great deal of demands on your own time. Some moms feel guilty for spoiling themselves. Don't! A stressed-out mum is harder to live with those who regularly takes time for herself.

Call on friends for help. Sleep and Stretch to Recharge Yourself

Stress requires a toll on our mind & bodies. In case you stay tense for hours on end and night, your overall health will suffer.

Many people need 9 or 10 hours to feel fully refreshed, but people - especially moms - get enough sleep.

What's preventing you from sleeping well? Noise and light can also make you stay restless, so purchase a sleep mask plus some comfortable foam sleeping earplugs as required. Give yourself a facial massage to alleviate the tension in tight jaw muscles.

Execute a Diet Makeover

Are you currently eating enough? A lot? Does stress make you want to eat constantly?

With a great deal of mindless eating (before the television, or while running errands), you might be eating more food than you thought.

Lean proteins, reduced-fat dairy products, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and whole grain products are wonderful energizers. Eat small portions of these types of food every two to three hours.

Got a Baby? Small kids could make reducing your weight after baby more challenging.Who has time to work through with a new baby or roaming toddler inside your home?

How Many Calories Should I Eat

The numbers of calories in foods, therefore, represent how much heat they can yield if burned up at 100 percent efficiency.

This is what 100 percent efficiency yields for the three food groups:

Carbohydrates = 4 Calories per gram
Proteins = 4 Calories per gram
Fats = 9 Calories per gram

These are NOT dietary yields!

Humans could not possibly digest any food group to 100 percent efficiency. Cellulose yields 4 Calories per gram when it is completely incinerated. It's rating as a food, however, is zero Calories.

How much is the energy of activation for different foods? The energy of activation is higher for digesting protein than for digesting carbs or fat.

Other Crucial Variables

"HOW you metabolize different foods depends on food composition, health and fitness, hormone balance, and lifestyle, as follows".

When glucose comes into the body (e.g., from sugar, starchy carbs, or food additives), 20 percent of it is metabolized through the liver and the remaining 80 percent through the rest of the body. In contrast, when fructose comes into the body (e.g., from sugar, high fructose corn syrup, or other food additives), 100 percent of it is metabolized through the liver.

You make more fat from fructose that you ever could from glucose! Foods are inflammatory. Inflammation is like super-glue for fat. Your food has become your enemy.

Good health and metabolism depends on a balance of hundreds of hormones. If you have become insulin resistant (diabetic or pre-diabetic) or leptin resistant, no matter how little you eat you will stay fat.

Counting calories will not help you until you address hormone resistance and hormone imbalance. Stop Worrying About Calories!

If anything, just trust your body to know how much to eat, when you eat the right foods at the right times. Eat slowly and enjoy what you eat.

Myths…How to Lose Weight Fast

First off, quick weight loss is a big mistake. Short term benefits are an illusion, and long-term benefits are nonexistent.

Fat Can Be Spot Reduced

At the core of many weight loss programs is the notion that you can remove fat from specific areas of your body, especially around the middle, legs, or arms. Recommendations may include ab machines, diet pills, packaged diet foods, or even lotions or gels.

You do not exercise fat!

Cardiovascular Exercise is the Answer

Cardiovascular exercise may have its benefits. Just don't expect this traditional 'long slow torture' approach to help you lose weight.

Crash Diets Work for Long-Term Weight Loss

By now I would hope that everyone knows that this is a myth. You know the old (incorrect!) adage: eat less to lose weight. The logical extension is: eat a lot less, lose more weight. This concept ignores so many important components of long-term weight management -- food quality, hormone balance, age and health status, and many more -- that it is patently ridiculous.

The only things that you will accomplish by crash dieting are lowering your BMR, being hungry all the time, and losing lean body mass and water weight.

Homeopathic HCG Drives Fast Weight Loss

HCG (human chorionic gonatropin) is the hormone-driven weight loss protocol developed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons in the 1950s. The hCG diet plan has been well-established through tens of thousands of clinical case histories as well as through recent scientific research.

The problem is that homeopathic hCG contains little or no hormone. What to Do That Works

Finding what works for you regarding weight loss -- actually, fat loss -- should be an ongoing discovery process.

The Gym

It is undeniable, the majority of people who exercise go to a gym.

My ultimate question that needs an answer is do we really need a gym to workout or do we just need a place where we can forget about everything else and focus on our exercise program?

I have been in the large chain gyms, as well as several independent personal training gyms around New York City. What is interesting about going into to the personal training gyms, is seeing the lack of standard gym equipment offered for use.

Rather the gym floor looks almost barren compared to a standard gym most of us are used to being members at. What is also interesting about the personal training gyms is the results being achieved by those who utilize the facility.

Using non-traditional gym equipment means learning non-traditional exercises.

Have a Brooklyn personal trainer come to your home for some sessions. You can create your fitness fortress of solitude with the right equipment, focus, and safeguards.

Exercise and Nutrition Combination

Great nutrition, when combined with exercise, is a powerful way to maintain and improve health.
When learning to eat better, one needs to remember to take baby steps. Eat fresh fruits, like grandma's apples, and vegetables.

Balance carbohydrates, fat and protein. A nutritionist Bronx can help you determine exactly what your needs are. Hydration is another aspect of nutrition that is extremely important when working out. Your nutritionist will also help you determine if you are drinking too many of your calories.

When you are ready to begin a more serious workout, a personal trainer Bronx can help.

A personal trainer bronx can help their clients set realistic, measurable goals and push them so that they can achieve the goals. Trainers give their clients the power they need to workout harder so they achieve goals faster and in a more sustainable manner.

Whether you desire to lose weight, tone up or develop strength, a personal trainer and nutritionist are the best combination to achieve your goals.

Remember to see your doctor for a complete checkup before starting any physical fitness or weight training program,. A complete annual physical should be a part of everyone’s wellness plan. This simple visit to your doctor can help stave off chronic or serious health problems from developing.

Build Muscle Mass and Boost Metabolism

Calisthenics, like pull-ups and pushups, are commonly avoided because they can be extremely painful. Because strength training exercises are typically anaerobic, with few exceptions, the body produces a high amount of lactic acid, thus causing a burning sensation in the muscles.

Coupled with physical and mental exhaustion, an abundance of lactic acid can persuade even the hardest of athletes to give it a rest. Remember that your body will prevail, as long as you maintain your mental strength.

To begin, I would recommend a routine consisting of no more than 100-200 pushups, spread out over an entire day. Break them down into even sets, of say 20 pushups per set.

The day following your first pushup workout, your chest, stomach, shoulders and legs will be sore. It will become apparent just how many muscle groups are worked when doing pushups. Take 2-3 days rest.

The secret to building the endurance strength necessary to do extremely large numbers of repetitions is to strategize with your own body. The workouts need to be strategically spaced apart and sometimes stacked together to maximize results.

The third stage requires that you compress your workout into a set time interval. Find a comfortable number of repetitions that you feel that you will be able to repeat until you have reached your daily goal of 200 pushups. This workout will consist of 20 sets of 10 repetitions.

The easiest and most successful method [in my opinion] for building endurance is stacking workouts. By stacking, I mean completing the same workout more than one time in less than a 24 hour period. During the fourth stage, complete a 200 pushup routine in the morning and in the evening, followed by a day of rest. My buildup workouts include two sessions of 300-500 pushups apiece, followed by a day of rest.

Guide to Effective Weight Loss

Weight loss can prove to be difficult at times, and without some type of foundation for your diet and exercise plans it will never be achieved.

The path you want to take is eating healthier foods and throwing out the unhealthy snacks. Then slowly start working in an exercise routine!

Dieting to Consider

If you cannot give up alcohol completely then cut it down drastically. Your metabolism could slow down 70% or more by drinking alcohol.

Carry fruits and grains for snacks to avoid the temptation of grocery store snacks.
Take away the large meals and split them up into 5-6 meals of small portions that include protein, veggies, and low carbohydrates.

Exercise is Important!

You have to exercise in order to lose weight. The supplements that claim they will help you lose weight without exercise are a waste of money, and may cause major damages to your body.

The people who try to use those supplements need to just stop being lazy and get an exercise routine going.

The amount of calories burned during your exercise will determine how much weight is going to be lost. If you do not want a gym membership, simply go and invest in a jump rope and some light dumbbells.

Also, make sure that you are breathing in, and breathing out for each exercise. After the running, jumping rope, and crunches are done grab those light dumbbells. The exercises you will perform are lunges, shoulder press, and bicep curls.

Reasons Why Your Diet Does Work

You no longer eat bread. You read and understand food labels and ingredients.

You season your food well especially with pepper. You eat yoghurt but ONLY natural full fat live yoghurt.

You chew each mouthful of food approx 20 - 25 times. Also chewing relaxes the body and stops you rushing and eating on the run.

You seek to keep stress to a minimum. Ask me about great stress busting techniques.

You choose slow melodic music at meal times. Nice restauarants that want you to enjoy their food play relaxing music to create a calm environment.

You don't stick to one type of exercise.

You know the right food to eat after exercising is protein and good fats and some carbohydrate.

You always exercise with up beat, up tempo music for motivation.

You dislike the smell of processed foods.

You have chosen to make your diet work.

You don't eat low fat/ no fat foods because you know that all the goodness has been taken out and replaced with processed sugar.

You follow the plan that if it grows you can it eat.

You want your diet to work.

Build Muscular Arms

The arms in a basic break down are the forearms, biceps, and triceps. These three areas on the arm are what you want to isolate to get the muscle packed arms you seek.

You first need to have a good diet plan that is made for muscle building, which means high calories and protein intake followed by low calorie and low carbs.

Biceps and Forearms

They call this that name because it has two muscle heads that make up the muscle. You want to start by doing heavy barbell curls for x4 sets x7 repetitions.

Follow this up with heavy dumbbell hammer curls which will be performed for x3 sets x8 repetitions. A great way to also build your biceps and forearms is by doing seated rows, squats, lunges, and deadlifts. Finish off with cable reverse curls x3 sets of x10 repetitions.

Triceps

The core workout for your triceps would be close hand grip barbell chest press. Do x5 sets of semi-heavy weight for x8 repetitions.

Grab a semi-heavy dumbbell for overhead triceps press. Do x3 sets of x10 repetitions.

Your arms should be burning like crazy by this point so move on to cable machines and do x3 sets of triceps push downs for x10 - x15 repetitions with light weight. Now you have finished an arm isolation day!

Top Chest Exercises

Picking the top chest exercises is so difficult because there are so many great chest exercises to choose from!
Pushups are not only great chest exercises to build strength and mass in the chest, but core strength as well. Eventually, pushups will become too easy.

1. Weighted pushups: Weighted pushups are pushups performed with added resistance.
2. Plyo pushups: Plyo pushups are one of the best chest exercises you can do to explosive strength in the chest.
3. Suspended pushups: Suspended pushups can be done using TRX suspension trainer or an equivalent.
4. Diamond pushups: Diamond pushups are just another variation of a close grip pushup. Diamond pushups are one of the best chest exercises you can do to target the triceps.
5. Wide grip pushups: Wide grip pushups are one of the top chest exercises you can do and for justified reasons.
6. Dive bomber pushups: Dive bomber pushups are one of the best chest exercises because they work not only the pecs, but also your shoulders, triceps, hamstrings, and lower back as well.

Chest Dips
Chest dips primarily target the pectoral muscles, triceps and anterior deltoids, although the biceps, forearms, and lower back are engaged as well. Additionally, chest dips force you to use the stabilizing muscles as well as you balance your body on the dip bar. To perform chest dips:
1. Position yourself in between a parallel dip bar grasping each handle with your hands
2. Raise yourself onto the parallel dip bar with elbows locked
3. Lower your body until your shoulders are lower than your elbows (or whatever feels most comfortable) with the elbows flared out
4. Forcefully push your body back up and lock the elbows out
5. You have completed a chest dip!

Dumbbell Bench Press
To perform a dumbbell bench press:
1. Start out sitting on a flat bench holding the dumbbells on your lower thigh
2. Slowly lay back on the beach as you bring the weight towards your shoulders
3. Position the dumbbells to the sides of your chest ensuring your upper arm is parallel to the floor
4. Press the dumbbells up until your arms are fully extended and pause for a second
5. Slowly and in a controlled manner lower the weights back down to the sides of your chest ensuring the upper arm is parallel to the floor

Barbell Bench Press
1. Lie with your back flat on a bench
2. Grasp the barbell with both hands approximately shoulder width apart
3. Dismount the barbell from the rack
4. Lower the weight to mid chest level
5. Keeping your head, shoulders, and lower back pressed into the bench, press the bar up until your elbows are locked
